OBJECT ORIENTED PROGRAMMING
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course teaches students how to develop applications. Topics covered include the programming language syntax, Object Oriented programming, exception handling, file input/output, threads, collection classes, and networking. Students will develop and test applications. This course is a pre-requisite to all Application Server courses.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This course is designed for applications programmers and designers planning to develop applications through programing.
PREREQUISITES:
Students should have taken the Software Development for Non-Programmers course or have programmed in at least one programming language – preferably C or C++. Some familiarity with Object Oriented Programming is desired but not required.
